Partners & Members

OUR LOCAL MEMBERS & PARTNERSHIPS:

Becoming a “member” of Drishti simply means that these businesses / organizations have taken the initiative to sign up and pay for ongoing, active memberships with us. What they receive in return is tailored to their needs and uses; restaurants are given weekly food scraps pick ups, schools and churches educational lectures, compost farm field trips, custom garden beds and bulk compost. A membership fee is a charitable donation, and it is the driving momentum of how we are able to financially sustain ourselves.

Partnership” is somewhat different, and entails a business relationship that aids in the movement and progression of composting as a green waste management system. For example, we have partnered with NOPE (Natural Organic Waste Enterprises) as our transportation counterpart. They are responsible for the picking up of large-scale organic waste from all of our participating members. In other words, they come and pick up the waste! “Partnership” also comes in the form of other local businesses and non-profits who we actively work with to seek smarter and healthier trends in the green waste and environmental sectors.
